Brazil: How it started, how it's going

Kinda crazy journey over this last year, what with all the legal maneuvering in getting the masters back, finding old files, and placing our first ever band vinyl order.

We'd never done a crowdfunding campaign before, collectively nor individually, and this itself was its own learning curve.

But here we are in the final stages of all of this - the artifact is made, funded, and preparing to be widely released upon the earth.

As we draw down into this final stage, here are a few things you can expect to happen over the next few weeks:

• Final surveys collected and cards charged shipping & state tax (if applicable)

  • Psst...still waiting on eighteen or so of you. However, some packages have already been sent, and of course local pickup is still an option if you want to save on shipping - get in touch!

• Husherville artwork sent to print

  • Layouts are already done, but there are still a few things we need to run a test print on to make sure the measurements are correct and nothing looks pixelated.

• Editioned works are stamped with numbers

  • I have a freshly opened ribbon for the Underwood, just waiting in the wings.

• Signed works are signed

  • We have freshly opened packs of technical pens and Sharpies, just waiting in the wings.

• Packing party

  • Yay!

• Post office drop

  • Booo.....

• You receive your pledges

  • Yay!

• Mail order goes live for general sale

  • Hopefully by Jan 1, 2026, if not a slightly earlier. Will keep you posted, but our priority is for backers to get their copies first <3

• Rarities and Live @ Hifi goes to public streaming

  • See "mail order" above.

• Another low-key live show?

  • You didn't hear this from me.

Now, it should be noted that I am an eternal optimist, and this timeline is something of a happy path. Most things are under our timeline control, but there are a small handful of outliers - namely the tees and book printing - that have the potential for slight delay if something should go wrong. Supply chain, on-again-off-again tariffs, all that.

But I will keep you updated on the progress of things as they progress.
