Another record to announce

Lots of extracurricular things going on outside the hubbub of Philosophies and Velocities.

DL;BR is nothing if not a collaborative creature.

And so, there is another record to announce.

This one is not mine but one I contributed to, curated by UK cult artist, trickster, magician, and reluctant retired pop star Bill Drummond.

A man who, along with fellow justified and ancient KLF konspirator Jimmy Cauty, sold their souls to the music industry devil in 1992 and then bought them back by burning a million pounds of earnings in a fishing shack on the remote Hebrides island of Jura.

A man who prefers not to talk about that version of himself.

And so, I digress.

(It's a pop mythos rife with the stink of stardom, crop circles, dead sheep and Discordian grimoires you should really look into at some point.)

But this record, this one is not mine. Though I did contribute, along with a couple dozen fellow artists from the far reaches of the globe, including Berlin, Wales, Egypt, Syria, Australia, et al.

Collectively, we were dubbed The Tied Hands. And collectively, we all shared our own interpretation of the Shangri-Las song "Past, Present, Future."

From Penkiln Burn (Album art and full artist lineup available at the link.):

EMOTIONS by The Tied Hands is to be the third of five scheduled Long Playing records released by Penkiln Burn Records.

EMOTIONS by The Tied Hands is to be released in the Delia Derbyshire Building on the 14th of November 2025. (Coventry, UK).

EMOTIONS by The Tied Hands is to be released in an edition of 480. As in one copy for every day that The Tied Hands tour of the World Wide Web lasted (17th of May 2024 and the 8th of September 2025). Each of the 480 copies will be given their own handwritten date on the copy. None of the 480 copies will be signed by members of The Tied Hands those.

WARNING: Do not buy a copy of this album, if you consider music as something to be enjoyed / emotionally moving or appreciated. Or even an investment.

Yours Faithfully,

W. E. Drummond The Managing Director of Penkiln Burn Recordings
