The Philosophy of Velocity Re-issue

Carl is finishing the new remaster, and the artwork is being reconfigured for vinyl by the original artist from the 2006 release. We are currently curating a slate of hard-to-find demos, studio outtakes and sketches to make this the release it should have been all along. Look for a vinyl presale and a digital release in the coming months.

Christmass - Revenant

The followup to the epic funeral doom EP "Vigil" is also currently in the works, half a decade later. "Revenant" is emotionally written from the experience of getting lost in the Laurentides during a blizzard last February and the darkness and awe that revealed itself within the trees. Currently writing Slavonic choir pieces and procuring found sounds from malevolent forest spirits and the company of wolves. Hoping to release before the holidays.

500 Days of Night on Substack

The blog I kept in the immediate aftermath of the band will be reborn through the DL;BR Substack and officially launched shortly after the release of the vinyl later this year. 500 Days of Night is/was a fading memory of a band's journey from chasing the ring to one simply trying to keep a dream from dying, as well as part one of an epic trilogy of a lifelong search for self.

Imaginary Cassettes

Clearing out the last 15 years of the vault and I've discovered a story emerging of a music scene that never existed except in my own mind. Shades of Kalevala Records, Bob Pollard's Fading Captain series, and the beloved Columbia House Cassette Club (I probably still owe them money). Building a list of fascinating collaborators to help finish up the first bundle for release in 2026.
