Witches is the fifth studio recording by JC Autobody, released on October 30, 2015 by Young Tobacco Records. It was produced in Indiana by Jonathon Newby (as JC Autobody) and features three original songs and one cover.

Considered a "Halloween" record, the EP features 70s-era analog synthesizers inspired by John Carpenter to push the electric blues-inspired metal into the edges of "horror psychedelia." Lyrically, Witches centers around the defunct Central State Hospital, formerly known as the Central Indiana Hospital for the Insane. Themes include entrapment, horror and the occult.

Songs from Witches have been performed in Indianapolis, IN.

Lyrics

Seven Steeples

seven steeples rising high wonder if you're gonna die / black the night the thunder calls window watchers on the walls / trapped under the veil of night shadow woman dressed in white / doctors watch with evil eyes  devil priests yeah in disguise / yeah i'm goin down to seven steeples / no way out of here no more days of freedom

Days of Noah

in these days of noah we're goin down down down / yeah the world's on fire and it's all over now / in these days of noah i'm gonna get you there / i wanna take you with me baby and get us outta here

The Reaper

the reaper comes in the midnight hour / the streetlight hums evil engine power / it's gonna get cold tonight  better wear something on your head wear the hex around your neck or you'll be one with the holy dead / seventh son chosen one ancient haze end of days / ice upon your skin the fear is wearing thin taste the blood upon your lips spent the night with captain tripps
