TRASH is the first studio recording by JC Autobody, released November 2009 by Young Tobacco Records. It was produced by Jonathon Newby (as JC Autobody) in Yorktown and Upland, IN, and features three original songs and one cover. Intended to be loud, brash and abrasive, the EP was recorded without bass, using only layers of electric guitar and feedback with vocals tracked using a harmonica "bullet" microphone. A single floor tom, tambourine and salvaged upright piano provided backing rhythm. Lyrical themes include recklessness, lowbrow and hot rod culture.

Songs from TRASH have been played live in Chicago, Indianapolis and Muncie, IN.

Lyrics

Ulcerated

yeah it's WW3 running through my brain got a fist in the face at a pickup game so i jumped in my chevy nova 396 with a beat to shit copy of dead eye dick / road map was an old Ouija board went drivin and drivin (till i couldn't) drive anymore / they say i'm 1/32nd cherokee but i'd rather be the 7th son of gasoline i stole a black jacket from a rummage sale put an ass patch on it of Richard Hell / cops in this town don't have any faces

s'cuse me son tell me where the race is / you got me cuz i don't give a fuck.

She's On Fire

there’s someone i’m seein tonight she’s a girl i’ve known all my life she’s got a mind that’s just like mine it’s filled with trash / i’m sayin when we get together it’s gonna be some real bad weather the kind i like when she’s on fire as hard as she can / she got an eight ball on her shifter a pair of dice hangin from the mirror / some little dots under the skin of her hand / we cruise along at 95 another am radio night she spins the dial cause she’s on fire as hard as she can
