ERE I AM J.H. is the fourth studio recording by the band Brazil released in 2008 on Elefant & Haus, and later Nap Factory Records. It consists of material recorded over a span of two years from 2006 to 2008. The songs are a mix of acoustic or alternate takes of songs from the album The Philosophy of Velocity, new songs, and a live recording. Most of the EP was recorded in home studios in Muncie, Upland and Yorktown. The live track "Io" was recorded at the Irvington Theater in Indianapolis.
Released with very little publicity nearly a year after the band's official break up in 2007, ERE I AM J.H. was planned partly as a way to share a growing collection of unused tracks with fans, as well as raise funds for the large amount of debt the band had accrued after years of touring. Reviews of the EP were tepid, as the album was inherently piecemeal and artistically uneven. It was released only digitally and without touring support, ultimately becoming a quirky post-script in the band's seven-year legacy.
